Inspired by my work experience with Marks and Spencer, I focused my final year of university towards the corporate social responsibility of 'fast fashion' retailers. My experience in buying encouraged me to critically analyse supply chain structure and innovate new or additional processes that could pro-actively benefit the ethical responsibility of a retailer.
Areas I have researched include: consumer consumption and psychology, façade ethical branding, green washing in the industry and the importance of transparency along the supply chain.
Now an employee of M&S I am fully integrated in their Plan A scheme.
