Job Responsibilities:

 

CRITICAL PATH

 

- Daily management of the critical path

- Organising team CP meetings

- Sending weekly updates/queries to Regional Offices & Suppliers

 

TECH & COLOUR

 

- Checking lab dips for colour approval 

- Knowledge of colour fastness

- Working with tech teams to understand the composition of fabrics and products 

- Good understanding of garment fit process and how fabric effects fit.

- Liaising fit comments to suppliers and identifying any CP concerns

 

SAMPLE MANAGEMENT

 

- Maintaining an up to date sample library

- Working with press & marketing and pulling appropriate product together

- Setting up for Heads of and Directors season sign off

- Setting up for international / buying fairs

 

PACKAGING

 

- Briefing in new season product and copy to packaging 

- Knowledge of corporate packaging references

- Knowledge of how packaging is integrated in the CP and managing accordingly

 

E-COM & ONLINE

 

- Briefing in new season product and copy to e-com teams

- Regularly checking online platforms to ensure product imagery and information is correct

 

TREND/DESIGN

 

- Compiling colour and trend boards during range building

- Attending season design briefings

 

COMMERCIAL AWARENESS

 

- Regularly conducting store visits

- Conducting regular comp shops/reports to stay up to date with competitor product and trends 

- Using commercial acumen to analyse sales figures and market share for opportunities within the market sector

- Knowledge of consumer insights

 

PRESS / MARKETING

 

- Press and marketing representative for the business unit. This voluntary role includes making sure press, marketing, retail and e-com teams are aware of weekly trade figures and take action where appropriate. I also initiate a fortnightly meeting with all parties to ensure strategies are aligned

- Attending press/marketing events
